Chapman throws 14 pitches, only two for strikes, and walks the bases loaded. I hope Holderman is ready.

Holderman preserves the lead with a strike out. Great job. Bucs 5 Giants 4 middle of the 8th.
I know BC acquired Chapman to trade at the Deadline but that plan has blown up. I wouldn’t pitch him again this year in an important situation. He can’t be trusted.

Bucs go too quietly in the 8th. I’m guessing Bednar’s coming in to nail it down. Bucs up 5-4.

Chapman's control has been a serious problem since 2021. I guess every GM but Cherington knew that.
