The highest scoring teamin MLB has 123 runs. This same team also has the 4th best run differential in MLB with a +30

Who might this be? The third place, 10-11 Arizona Diamondbacks.

They won on opening day 16-1 and last night by 17-1. That 33-2 advantage in just 2 games is the difference in run differential between +30 and -1. And if they had scored a more normal, say, 5 runs in those 2 games instead of 16 and 17, they wouldn't be in the top 10 in runs. Shows how a couple of outlier games can skew the stats.

Yankee fans boo Aaron Judge on his bobblehead day as the Yankees lose 2-0, Judge strikes out 4 times.

Fans just keep getting uglier.

Currently watching the Phillies- White Sox. The Sox are so bad. They will be 3-17 after this one.
What has happened to this Franchise?

I think it started when they hired LaRussa

Don't really follow AL but wondering how the heck the O's won 100 last season and are looking good this year and their payroll is under 100 million??

Just a guess but did they get really lucky with rookie contracts????

Must admit I do enjoy them staying with the Yankees who probably are top 3 in payroll.

They have quite a few players who have been pre-arbitration. That will start to end this year when they have to decide whether or not to keep someone like Anthony Santander, who has blossomed into a dangerous hitter, Cedric Mullins, Ryan Mountcastle, and Corbin Burns.
Adley Rutschman, and Gunnar Henderson will likely enter the arbitration process after this season. Their farm system is loaded beyond that, showing that they select and develop players really well (unlike our Bucs).
The team was just sold, so they may be a significant player for several years, likely through the end of this decade.

Thanks!! Thankfully the Pirates are not in that division. That would be scary bad. ;)

3-22 now. They are on pace for a 20-142 season.

It's been said often, every team will win 50 games, every team will lose 50 games. I'm not certain the White Sox will win 50 games. But it's early, and they only need play .343 ball the rest of the way at 47-90.

We might be watching one of the most historically bad teams of MLB history.

I'll go out on a limb with a prediction here: They're going to be sellers at the deadline.
