Yes, play only looked close because shortstop double clutched before throwing. Davis had just rounded third when SS received the ball.

The SS was catching the relay throw in short CF as Davis was rounding 3B. The throw beat Davis but it was closer than I thought it would be. Davis was going to be out on anything but a bad throw. I never like a 3B coach to gamble on the fielder making a bad play. But at least this wasn't one of those out by 15 feet plays Rabelo seems to excel at.

Gurriel made that play possible by diving and stopping the ball where he did. But still, bad decision by Rabelo. Again!

Not only has Block told us 100 times Keller leads baseball in strikeouts looking, he makes sure to emphasize by saying "in all of baseball. " But wait there's more. He goes on to tell us all the pitchers he has more than, "even more than Gerrit Cole". Because you know, when you lead something in all of baseball, you have to bring a name up as if saying,"even him!". Even though Cole is part of the "in all of baseball"

Keller retires the Snakes in the third after that lead-off walk. Still scoreless as we go to the 4th, where the Bucs will be putting up a crooked number.
