Bucs have 41 wins at the moment. Have to win 29 more games for the elusive 70 win season. They have 69 games to get er done. I do believe they will hit 70+.

It's tough to predict. Math-wise, after the 20-8 start, they have gone 21-44 for a Pct of .323 in the last 65 games.



To win 70, they must go 29-40 the rest of the way, which would be an improvement to .420 over the remaining 69 games.



But it appears the roster for the remainder of the season will be significantly different with Davis, Gonzales, Triolo, Rodriguez, Peguero and Priester. And Cruz will return. And there are sure to be other changes after the TDL. So it's hard to make any predictions based on the past 65 games when the roster is turning over so much (and hopefully for the better). I think 70 wins is very possible. Maybe even a few more. But of course there's always the Shelton factor to consider. That can be an additional obstacle beyond whatever threat the opposing team presents.

I predicted the Bucs to score 661 runs this season which is just 4.08 per game.  The team is actually doing a little better and is averaging 4.17.



But I tried to be optimistic and picked 71 wins too. Glad I didn't put any money on the team.
