I don't know how we won that game but we did. Of course the Cardinals didn't exactly deserve to win either

Whew. That was close.   Ugly but just take it and move on.    We kind of lucked out of this one as many baserunners as we've allowed. Shoulda lost, we will take it!

Frazier plays tomorrow too, right?  I mean, even hurdle wouldn't "rest" a guy 10 for his last 22, right???

Polanco is stepping up his defensive game. Well done. Guy has really come on

An ugly win for sure guys. But a win is a win and I will take it.

About the poll. The attendance referenced is from the MLB debut of one Geritt Cole on June 11, 2013 v the Giants. Cole pitched 6.1 innings of 2 run 7 hit ball with 2 Ks as he beat Tim Lincecum and the Giants. Last night's attendance was under the 30,614 that night at 26,773.

Don't be absurd. We all know it's S-Rod's turn to play.

Yes it is S-Rod's turn to play. But will he replace Frazier in LF, or will it be Freese at 1B while Freese moves to 3B or will he replace Jordy at SS?

I am beginning to think like dmetz when it comes to when and where S-Rod plays. Thanks dmetz for teaching thid ol' fart something new! ;D

Well Dickerson is supposed to be back tonight so he will be back in the lineup or at least he better be. I would leave Frazier in the lineup somewhere don’t know if he can play 3rd with the lefty pitching and les e JHay at 2nd and Freese at 1st. Just as long as Sean Rod doesn’t see the field is all that matters which he just definitely shouldn’t.

I predict they don't start Dickerson yet, just to play it safe and give him an extra day of "rest."

And yes of course they'll definitely start S-Rod.

And the Pirates will probably be the only team in MLB to sit a guy who is 10 for his last 22.

I think Dickerson, LF and Frazier 2b. JHayand Frazier are forcing this issue.

The Pirates continue to win some key games, but they really aren't playing good ball right now. Too many defensive lapses and allowing big innings. While a win is a win, I believe they really need to step it up a few notches if they want to make another run.

Good to see a forgotten player like Frazier step up and help the team.

Hurdle needs to ensure that Diaz continues to get regular playing time along with Cervelli.

Osuna hasn't shown much of anything this year. When Dickerson returns S-Rod should be released, but the likelihood of that happening is really low. So, when Dickerson is activated Osuna should be the one to lose out.

Bucs need a well pitched game tonight. And on top of that, another win. Go Bucs.

If Dickerson returns tonight, my guess is Bostick will return to Indy. They will retain Osuna until Bell comes off the DL.
