yes, but Marte brings great defense (most of the time) and speed.  Marte doesn't have Pedro's power but he has a higher avg and higher oba than Pedro.

Pedro's highest slugging avg. with Bucs is 473 and Marte's highest is 460.

Both are frustrating in that they seem to have potential to be a lot better.

Pedro was born in 1987 and Marte in 1988.

It seems pretty clear that Marte has had a better big league career.

Bed time for me, I don't think there is any reason to sit through the 9th inning.

They said time and time again how they felt that they had a good core group of young position players they could win with this season. And so far that has turned out to be a complete and utter disaster. So tired of not only Nutting but Huntington and Coonelly lying through their teeth trying to make this team better then it really is and both of them continuing to blame the fans not attending games as a main reason for not spending more money.

Yeah .. the attendance issue is obviously not a "chicken or the egg " issue. They must think everyone is an idiot ?

Just remember...you’re never as good as your highest high or as bad as your lowest low. Still, this is embarrassing. Soon to be nine game losing streak, injuries all over the field (not their fault, but still...), Glasnow and Meadows doing well, not to mention Cole, Morton, etc. Even a castoff like Adrian Sampson comes in and shuts this team down. I’m left asking the question...why bother? I mean, why invest time and money following a team that puts this type of a product on the field? I see no hope for the future either. 2019 May go down as the year when I lost my baseball fandom. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I don’t enjoy being disappointed 90 nights a year. It’s not fun. Being a sports fan is supposed to be fun. This isn’t fun.

We'll score two in the ninth, guaranteed.

Well, they did get two runs. And a third, so there’s that.

I can’t wait until Huntington sends Bryan Reynolds back down when Dickerson or Chisenhall come back and they keep JB Shuck and his .200 average on the roster.

If they think of Reynolds as a more long-term piece, they'll likely be thinking service time issues. As with Martin.
