I don't think Kranick has much of a future in MLB. But at this point the Pirates are looking for anyone with a pulse to pitch. So he'll probably hold down a spot in the rotation.

Kranick's ERA is now 7.31.



His ERA since after his 5 inning perfect debut has been 10.64.

Which begs the question: with this pitching staff, can the Pirates win 20 games the rest of the way?

Bucs leave them loaded......Wehner brought up what I was thinking about Nogo....he was caught looking last time up, on a borderline pitch that he kept barking about....this one was clearly out of the zone......just wondering had he kept his mouth shut the first time

That pitch wasn't close. Either the ump is incompetent or was holding a grudge against Nogowski for arguing earlier. We need electronic ball/strike calls. So tired of incompetent umps effecting the outcome of games.
