That must be why Nogowski didn't start at 1B
I thought it was kind of funny that Shelton decided he needed to rest Nogowski on the same day Stallings and Newman also rested but ended up having him play 1B three innings, bat twice and pitch an inning. I guess sometimes rest is important and sometimes it isn't.
