And someone explain to me how a guy went first to third on a groundout to second base?

Looks like the Marlins love being Piratey!
In protest of Reynolds not playing, I am going to watch the Steelers

The Stillers are worse than the Bucs!

This is why we can't have nice things. You just knew it was going to happen. Pirates played the entire game like they were afraid to win.

Another blown chance at a sweep.

And do something with Kuhl. Either put him back in the rotation, or send him down. He's not cut out to be a reliever, he doesn't want to do it. I don't like his attitude about it either.

No need to worry about that. Playing every game was not uncommon some years ago. Presently, Reynolds just received his 12th day off in addition to days when games are not scheduled.

On a day when Shelton might have used his best lineup to get the first sweep of the season, he rested his best player:

10 days after no game was scheduled on Thursday September 9th.

4 days later the team had another day off on Monday September 13.

So today's rest was 6 days after the off day on Sept 13, 10 days after the day off of Sept 9, and the 3rd off day in an 11 day span.

And the season is over in 2 weeks.

This is not a matter of not playing all 162 games. Not by a long shot.

After looking at the rest of the schedule, a sweep doesn't seem to be in the cards :(

No sweep? Don't they have a four-game set with the Phils coming up? Hmmm.

Depends on which direction you're thinking of- for....or, against. ;)
