Looks like we won't go 0 - 162.

Didn't have a chance to watch the game on TV because I had to catch up on some work.

But, just looking at the box score ---

Some nice contributions from Chavis and Marisnick.

While 2 games don't make a season, Castillo should start again tomorrow at 2nd. Let's find out if he is the real deal.

Yajure and Crow both pitch 2 innings of scoreless ball. The Bucs will regularly need these type of performances because their starters likely won't go too deep into games.

Will try to catch some of the game after I get home.

Had a chance to catch the St. L. announcers on the satellite. Very complimentary, as should be in this kind of defeat.

I was particularly impressed with the defense. There were some hard hit balls that were grabbed off. Hayes had a great day at third. And then there were the key hits. A great afternoon of baseball.

Marisnick was very good defensively in rightfield, and Castillo was good at second as well as at the plate. Both need to play, and do not play Tucker at either position until they show they cannot handle every day playing.
