Keller (0-4) deserved better. On the bright side, when they lose Robbie doesn't do a post game interview.  ;D

With so many middle infielders, I think it's time to give someone else Tucker's AB's. I'm done with him.

Maybe VanMeter can work with Tucker to try to raise his BA from its current .156 to VanMeter's lofty .171. And Tucker could work with Marisnick to try to raise his .146 BA up to Tucker's .156.

Welcome to the club. Tucker is among more than a handful of guys who could be released and the team would be better served. I think we’ll begin to see guys like him be DFA’d, traded, or otherwise sent packing in the next few weeks and be replaced with the players who are seen as part of the next winning club. It can’t happen too soon.

Agree on Keller

I used to really pull for Tucker- not anymore - he has to go

No Pirate starter has a win- Musgrove 4-0

Has Yoshi forgotten how to pull the ball? It seems he is trying

to beat the shift by trying to hit everything to left.

Yea it’s getting to the point now where you need to start giving some of these guys like Mason Martin who is raking at AAA and Cal Mitchell who is hitting .305 a shot up here. Guys like Yoshi, Van Meter, Tucker and Marisnick have no future on this team and the time for playing them everyday and continuing to see them suck and get worse needs to end here soon. I still think Cruz should be up here as well it’s well past time for him to be on this roster.

It's past time to cut bait with Tucker. A switch hitter who always has the advantage over the pitcher but can't hit from either side of the plate. He has never been able to hit so it's not as if they know he can do it and he just needs to tweak his swing. They're just waiting for him to develop a skill he does not possess. VanMeter is another. Over 600 MLB ABs and has never been able to hit. Also not above average with the glove. Their ABs are wasted when there are prospects waiting in the wings.

Yea I mean it’s not like this team is good enough to win a pennant or even make the playoffs for that matter they aren’t going anywhere that’s the reality plain and simple. I mean we are 22 games into the season and not one starting pitcher on the team has a single win for gods sake. What makes anybody think this team is all of a sudden gonna flip a magic switch and be a playoff contender. They aren’t plain and simple and for Shelton to keep running guys out there every stinking day like VanMeter, Tucker, and Yoshi when you have younger better players ready to come up and play is just completely inexcusable. And the longer you wait to give these guys like a Martin like a Mitchell, like a Bae, and like a Cruz an opportunity because you insist on playing garbage that will not help the team the longer you are holding the franchise back from becoming a winning team sooner rather than later.

it is baffling. I can see making Tucker a utility infielder type player but they traded for Van Meter. It makes no sense to play Tucker in the outfield, he can't hit and he isn't a great defensive outfielder. I can see having an all glove no hit utility infielder (but always looking for someone better).

22 games in, and our starting pitchers have combined for ZERO wins.

Not all of the losses were their fault (today, for example), but for the vast majority of those 22 starts, the Pirates starter did not deserve a win.
