I don’t expect Cruz to perform miracles but I’d sure like him to at least hit above .200, which isn’t a lot to ask of a guy who’s been sold to us as our next great player.

He sulked when they sent him down prior to the season, performing badly for the first couple of months. He’s sure not proving Cherington was wrong back there in March as his performance continues to smell like a rotted fish.

Another error, this by Castro, but Crowe keeps them off the board.

Dumb send home, player on third and a strike out looking, two bad throws in the same inning leading to a run. The poor play has just been going on too long this season.

Like seeing him have a couple of hits tonight. Maybe this will get him going. Would like to see him in the mix for a roster spot next year.
