Far from giving up on boys. Hell, I just want a .500 season.
Although I knew it had to happen it still a huge downer after that great month of April.

Also have to look at the fact that they have probably faced the three best pitchers they have had to face this season in a row. Granted their defense sucked yesterday, but I am not thinking it will last. They will get it turned around.

Last night's game was painful to watch. The defense was abysmal. Exactly what was Andujar doing on that fly ball?
Tropicana Field or whatever they now call this excuse for a major league ballpark should be condemned. I am not offering an excuse for the number of botched plays, particularly by the young middle infielders, but all of them appear to be having problems adjusting to the artificial surface. There is a reason the Rays are nearly perfect at home.
Losing 3 in a row is depressing (particularly when you can't score in 3 innings off of Chase Anderson), but hey, the Cubs are 4 - 9 in their last 13, the Mets are 2-8, and the Cards have yet to turn it around. The Bucs are still in a good place.
