Bucs respond in the 5th about the way we’ve come to expect, by going down in order. Is the season almost over?

Rays losing interest as they go down in order in the 5th. Still 4-0.

Yet another three up, three down inning for the Pirates. We have two hits midway through six. If only we could’ve had a seven week period before the season started so that we could’ve gotten prepared.

Rays extend lead to 5-0 in the 6th. Are our guys still interested?

Bucs down in order in the 7th. At this point, six of the guys in the starting line-up are batting below .200. One of them, Endy, has yet to start an average.

Borucki with a couple of strikeouts in the 7th. Still 5-0 Tampa.

Yay!!!! Endy Rodriquez starts an average! He doubles with one out in the 8th.

Frazier follows with a single to drive home Rodriquez. 5-1 Tampa.

Bucs offensive outburst in the 8th cuts the lead to 5-1.

I said a couple times that the Pirates must avoid those long losing streaks this season if they are to avoid another losing season. Well it appears they are starting one of those streaks early this season.That is very unfortunate.
