A team built like the current Pirates cannot afford any injury. I would think we are headed below .500 the rest of the way. It was a bit of an enjoyable first 100. Skenes was exciting. Now I fear he will get zero run support.

The worst part about all of this is that it speeds up the departure of Paul Skenes and, oh the humanity, Livvy Dunne.

They've gotta find a way to keep Livvy. Maybe they could get her interested in a .180 hitting middle infielder. The Bucs could draft yet another one, just for her.

And when she’s ready to dump his sorry ass, they’ll be another one to take his place. And then another one, and another one . . .

In a handful of years, he's going to be about a half billion dollars hotter.

Yeah, if I ever hit that powerball for a billion dollars, I'm going after her. If she says, "he's loaded" I'll give her the George Costanza, "Heh. Only HALF a billion dollars."

I guess this goes under management instead of starting a new thread.
Maybe it's just coincidence but looking at these rash of injuries, lower
back spasms, groins, and hamstrings I am wondering if these guys are doing the
proper stretching and conditioning before games. Hayes is a chronic situation but how about
the others. Are the trainers doing their job? Your thoughts
