Bednar gets out of it, Pirates load the bases, one out, and Reynolds chokes again

And Cruz chokes again too.

This team is completely full of chokers. There isn't a single one of them that wants to be "the man".

Two out, nobody on, and runners can't even get moved up.

Bases loaded, one out, and can't even get a flipping sac fly.

This team is so full of weak minded players. I'm glad they all love holding each others hands and kumbaya, but I'd love for someone to be a complete jerk who rakes and can get a productive out when that's all that's needed to win a game a team keep trying to give to you

Oh, Cruz is upset with himself.......Wehner, "oh, he JUST got underneath it" No kidding.

I'd switch it to radio to avoid Wehner's apologism, but that means Block head

Chapman gives up a seeing eye single, Cubs take the lead

never should have been in this situation to start with

So Reynolds makes a stellar catch, but it should have never been needed if you could have at least hit the ball to the OF his last AB

Someone PLEASE, take the sock out of Wehner's mouth, and then tell him to quit talking

So much for last night possible being a turning point in the season. It's kind of like Jack Suwinski at bat.........every so often he runs into one, but it's so infrequent, it's almost pointless.

Kind of like a Pirates victory after another of so many stellar pitching performances gone wasted by the rotation.

You know, that starting rotation that was supposed to be absolute sewage?

In response to people talking about great pitchers on other teams, I’ve often said half-jokingly, just wait 10 years and the Pirates will get him. That was the case with Chapman. He’s certainly past his prime. But that’s the only way the Pirates get players who were once outstanding.
