Somehow, Davis scored when Hayes struck out. Game Day not very clear. 3-1 Bucs, Reynolds at third, two outs.

Pitch hit catcher Realmuto on the wrist and went to backstop. Hayes was unaware ump had called strike 3 on the pitch. Davis scored on the WP but pitcher retrieved the ball at the backstop and threw to 1B for out on Hayes.

Ortiz stays in the game to pitch the 7th holding a 3-1 lead. Looking ahead, will Shelton use Bednar in the 9th?

Fleming relieves Ortiz with two out and a runner on first in the 7th.

Fleming retires Stott on two pitches. Bucs carry a 3-1 lead into the 8th. Is it just me or does Bryson Stott look a little like a young Keith Richard?

Triolo with a one out single and Davis follows by doubling him home. I’m really rooting for that kid to hit the way I think he can. 4-1 Bucs.
