Puk removed after 68 pitches, only 33 for strikes. We know outings like that all too well.

Okay let's eat away their bullpen with two more in the series.

Bad fundaments have to be corrected by the manager. But they aren't. The excuse for bad base running is usually that they are being aggressive. But there's a big difference between being aggressive and being stupid. When Rabelo sends a guy and he's out by 20 feet, that was a no-win situation and just giving away outs. When Cruz ruins a rally by tagging up at 2B on a fly out to LF, that just stupid. These guys need some classroom instruction. They need to understand risk/reward. Sure, it's better to be at 3B than 2B. But making a needless out trying to get to 3B has more negative impact than the positive impact of being safe. And It's better to score than not score. But trying to score when there's little chance of being safe is just a gift to the other team. Some of these players--and Rabelo--just don't seem to understand.

Bucs can't score any more in the third. Still 4-0 good guys.

I sure wish we'd see the Triolo that won the job.....should have beat that out easily instead of admiring the shattered bat....more bad base running

Perez struggles in the third, allows his first run. 4-1 Bucs after three.

Dang, Bucs waste a Taylor lead-off double. Still 4-1 Bucs after three and a half.

Wasted lead off double. Another runner stranded from poor situational hitting.
