Hayes has been hitting. But when he ended the inning with the grounder to 2B he was barely moving to 1B. Hayes has a tendency to slowly jog to 1B when he assumes he's going to be out. So the fielder knows he has all the time in the world and never rushes the play or the throw. It's really a poor look.

Bucs blow an opportunity in the 7th, stranding two runners.

How difficult is it to run hard four or five times a day? If they’ve told him to take it easy on plays like that because of his back then he shouldn’t be in the line-up.

Cardinals don’t score in the 8th. Goldschmidt and Arenado have been neutralized in this series. Then again, neither is having their typical year.

Bucs go meekly in the 8th. Need a miracle in the 9th with the top of the order due up.

Hey, Endy is going to play first base in the 9th.

Cardinals score a run without the ball leaving the infield. Bucs now need three to tie, four to win, in the 9th.

Reynolds with a one out single. I’m predicting Peguero is going to be the hero.

Joe doubles. Palacios needs to get on for Peggy.
