Another thing too if Polanco is really that hurt where he isn't in the lineup everyday then put him on the stinking DL and leave Bell up here and quit playing a man short. The Pirates are absolutely horrible at doing this it happens year after year with somebody.

I wonder how much value the Bucs place on Niese's options? Would they have made the deal if Niese was going to be a free agent after this season?
