I disagree. 



Ryan Vogelsong had a better 2015 than Charlie Morton.  Vogelsong had a better record, better ERA, more strike outs.  he had more walks and gave a up a little more HRs, but overall Vogelsong had a better year.  Vogelsong should have started in the rotation over Juan Nicasio in my opinion. 



Only Taillon was expected to be up.  Not Taillon and Glasnow. 






I don't know how they could have been certain about Taillon considering he had been out for so long. I think they gambled and they lost (considering Neise, Locke and Nicasio all failed as starters and then throw in Liriano and Cole's troubles).

Taillon is special, that's why. He just needed some reps. Taillon would have been up sooner if he didn't get hurt. Just like Cole, he was expected to be called up at that time to help the team.



In 2017, that pitcher will be Glasnow. Just following the plan.
