Bell pinch hits and takes a FB down the middle of the plate; the type of pitch most hitters salivate over. Then he short arms an inside pitch for a grounder to 2B. This is why he entered the game hitting .239.

I don't understand why outfielders jump on the wall chest first? How do they think they are going to rob a HR or catch the ball? Their back is turned. Marte should know better. It's not just Marte, a lot of outfielders do it. Just play the ball off the wall or jump up facing the infield. Isn't that common sense too?

Williams has been garbage recently. His start to the season was/is as flukey as the team's start.
