anyone have any info on how some of those injured guys like Cumpton, Sadler, and Kingham are doing at Pirate city and how close they are to appearing in some games on the farm?

Pretty sure Kingham is starting tonight for Bradenton.

According to a Pirates Prospects article dated May 7th, Kingham is with the Bradenton Marauders and will make his first rehab start with them as some point. Sadler and Cumpton are both pitching off the mound. No indication of when they will return, but both will do so as relievers at least for this year.

Kingham apparently is scheduled for a start tonight. Article on P2 about it today. Scheduled for 5 innings, so he's been building up for a while.

5 innings 1 hit no ER's and if box score is correct zero walks and zero K's



68 pitches and threw 46 for strikes

All 3 are now officially back



Cumpton with a BS, vulturing a W while allowing one ER in 1 IP tonight for Bradenton guy is 28 and doesn't have an official inning pitched since 2014 with the Bucs. Gotta admire his stick to it-edness

Kingham with an 85 pitch 9 inning complete game 2 hitter, allowing no walks and 1 hr. Struck out 8

I didn't realize Cumpton was that old. He'll be 29 next season. Seems like a AAAA pitcher.
