Clint better have a damn good explanation for this in his postgame when they ask him because that move was simply indefensible in a one run game in the 8th inning in a game that has extreme importance. I don’t get it at all.

This loss is on Hurdle period despite the comeback. Going to Nevershouldpitch in the 8th lost this game. This manager more times then not just does not give the Pirates the best chance to win a game. Winning to Hurdle is just not important enough it seems and using Neverauskas in the 8th inning in such a key key game it’s simply infuriating.

Hurdle just said in his postgame that Crick was available and that he wanted to use Neverauskas in a high leverage situation. It made no sense what he did say and how he explained it. Need a better explanation then the one given by Hurdle.
