Who knows, he may not get a ML deal with anyone else and might comeback to the Bucs as TF did.

True. But I think Wolters will get picked up by another team. He was the starting catcher the last 2 years for the Rockies and is solid behind the plate. He's probably better than some backups around MLB.

The night before opening day the Pirates still have 28 players including 16 pitchers.

Clay Holmes has been added to the roster, and Brault appears to have been placed on the DL, however, there are still 16 pitchers listed on the active roster on the official site.



In short, someone soon has to go.

It is now showing the Kyle Crick is not on the opening day roster and that Ponce also is on the DL. In short, the team is now at 14 pitchers.

Nothing against the new dad (I hope the childbirth went well), but I was hoping to see that the Bucs had traded him for an A level prospect with some upside.
