Keller should not even be pitching any more of this game let alone bat with the bases loaded and 1 out and a 5-run deficit.

Why not bat for Keller here down 5 with the bases loaded. Might not get a better chance to score some runs and get back in this game.

What’s frustrating about Shelton the other day he took Cahill out in the 5th who was pitching extremely well and batted Polanco in a 1-1 game with 2 outs and nobody on, and today he wouldn’t bat for Keller when they are down by 5 runs and the bases loaded in the 2nd when he has pitched like complete and total garbage so far. Makes no sense at all and it’s really poor managing in my opinion.

Seriously keller might give them one more inning. He pulls guys early all the time. You have to at least get one more run. Awful managing

Just sensational managing by Shelton. Starting pitcher has given up 6 runs in 2 innings so you sacrifice a chance to get some back with the bases loaded so that the completely inept so-called "pitcher" can stay in the freaking game and give up some more runs. Shelton just may have snatched the GOG right our from under the nose of Keller.

Agree with Bobster and Freddy: pinch hitting for Keller was an obvious choice.

Sometimes I think our manager is strategizing for young player development, and wins be damned. First he brings Oviedo in with a tie score. Next, he keeps Keller in when all logic calls for the PH.

What am I supposed to think? Thank you for tanking?

Who was Shelton going to pinch hit? Difo? Alford? Cheringtopn has left this roster completely devoid of pinch hitters.

Evans is on the bench today and he's been their best hitter.
