I thought it was the correct call.
Difo didn't interfere. It was simply a bad throw. The rule requires interference by the runner.

I thought that if Difo had not been running inside the line, the First Baseman would have caught the ball.

This is going to be a tough series to win a game, and it lined it up an unfortunate way for the Pirates.
Tonight ... Our best pitcher vs. a left-hander who is shutting down our lefty-dominant lineup.
Tomorrow -- Cahill.
Sunday -- Johnny Wholestaff
I wish Brubaker could have lined up against someone other than Happ. His performance tonight might have been good enough to win one of the next two games.

Another great start by Brubaker. Safe to say at the moment if the Pirates do have an “ace” or number 1 starter right now it’s JT Brubaker and it’s not even close.

True. He's pitching on a different level than the other starters.
