Well, it's been 4 days since the All-Star break. Shelton probably thinks Frazier is exhausted. 
With 11 days to go before the trade deadline, any time he's not listed in the lineup makes me nervous. Today especially, Shelton had his lineup out earlier than normal. Then I saw the Crick DFA thread and I'm like, "Oh wow.....something big happened"

Well, Frazier only had three days off last week so it’s a wonder he can remain upright.

Shelton said in the pre game presser new guy Peters is going to stretched out to be a starter. He said they had an eye on him earlier in the year. The reason Crick let go was to give other pitchers a chance to pitch in the majors. I think Crick was dfa because he probaly doesn't cleat waivers and they work a trade that pays for Peter's acquisition.

Peters should already be stretched out, he has started 8 times including

6/17 6/22 7/3 and 7/10.



Pitched 6 innings on 7/10 and gave up one run.

He also gave up 5 homers his first start of year on May 7, two in his next start and then one homer in every game except for July 3.

Maybe he meant to say to work out the cramp in his neck. Thats a lot of HRs
