Pathetic. Because this just happened on Sunday (except it was Difo and not Hayes) when the bases were loaded.

Interesting how the AZ's run and the Bucs third run were products of poor defense.

Polanco picked Escobar's double up barehanded, and made a quick relay throw, and the runner should have been held, but I'm guessing a team finally did their due diligence on Polanco's arm. However, Frazier sailed the ball well up the line, when the runner should have been thrown out pretty easily.

The Pirates have scored three runs because on the Gamel FC, the second baseman went for the tag instead of just throwing to second, and Gamel would have been a routine DP victim. So he missed the tag, threw late to get the out at second, but couldn't get Gamel at first.

Run scores on the play, Nogowski homers next AB.

The little things really change a game quick.
