We won't know whether this is a "problem" or not. But, like most other industries, sports is very much a copy-cat thing.
Maybe a dozen clubs will go for it. The rest will cut bait and attempt to regroup (as we've been doing and was done by several teams in recent years.)
When so many competitors go about business the same way, it's like the rest of baseball- a matter of who's the most successful at the same processes.
