The Pirates have never lost a game when my son got to announce the start of the game with "Play Ball!"

He even wore his Enrico Pallazzo shirt!!

I can't get over how much Enrico Pallazzo looks like a HP umpire.

The Pirates only had hits in the 2 innings they scored. There were 7 very boring innings in that game. But that 9th made it all worthwhile. :)

Stratton (5-0) is now tied for the team lead in wins. He has played on 3 awful Pirate teams but somehow is 8-2 for them over those 3 years.

I loved listening to the announcing crews from The Loo on Thursday and Sundays big innings.

The sheer dejection in their voices was beautiful. I'm certain they reflect every Cardinals fans thoughts, "how did this happen?"

the St. Louis home run call today was perfect.  It was like letting the air out of a tire.

And in the video, Molina is walking toward the dugout while Yoshi still was holding his bat.

I'm already really disliking the manager of The Loo. Guy yapping about all those "flawless" innings only to let "just two half innings" do them in.

Hello, that's how the game works. I guess those flawless innings had no mention of how many pulverized shots found gloves, or some really good defense to save a lot of runs.

Guy just looks at a bunch of zeroes and thinks "flawless".

Hey, Shildthead, even the Orioles, D-Backs, and Pirates hold their opponents to more zeroes than innings scored upon.

Isn't he the guy from the office in love with his stapler?

I had the away feed on my fire stick to give myself a break from Brown. To listen to the Cards announcers was priceless
