I mean you remember that every single team makes pickups like this every single offseason right?  We're starting to sound like the Post Gazette comments page. 




Essentially what I've said in other threads. Picking up guys that other teams have made available this time of year is rarely a big deal. Others gave their thoughts as to reason why it gets more attention.



As for the rest? That's exactly what internet message boards are. If someone's looking for anything other than that, I'm not sure that an internet message board is the best place to find it.
