I am sad to report that one of the greatest players of all time, Willie Mays
has passed away at age 93.

I am glad that I was able to see him play. Saw him 4 times at Forbes Field

For those of us who were kids during his playing days, he was like a god. Every conversation about who was the best started with Willie Mays. His name alone was magical.

Mays was 40 years old the only time he had over 100 strikeouts in a season. Players today
