You make good points. Both are deserving. I usually favor the everyday player in situations like this but I'm giving Cahill my vote because I'm still not expecting much from the rotation in general and him in particular. So when he does well like he did today, I'm going to give him some love because he may not have another outing this good again.

Shed beat me to it when NH who is now 2 seasons removed can get votes but there can be no "no goat" votes. He isn't senile though so it's okay to laugh at him. A train wreck where no one gets hurt. Plus he's a heck of a guy and a damn fine American.

I was the Huntington vote. Perhaps I'm not taking the vote seriously enough? But I am firmly ensconced with the harmless train wreck scenario.
