Consequently, we have mutually agreed to allow new leadership to head Baseball operations." It's just a wee subtle difference.

A report in the Post-Gazette this morning says that MLB has decided to bring back both seven inning doubleheaders and starting extra inning games with a runner at second base. Idiots!
However, in a fit of common sense rarely seen, the DH will not be brought back to the NL in 2021.

Maybe this could be Pedro Alvarez's ticket back to the majors. He was always a heckuva base runner.
