Holy cow DK Sports is reporting Endy had elbow surgery today. No information about how long he will be out. This team has a black cloud over their head.

I imagine Tellez will help (how can’t he with the short right field wall) but, again, this is yet another bandaid on a gaping wound.

If Endy is out for any length of time, maybe they will sign someone to play centerfield, and return Suwinski back to right field. I am sure the local writers who follow the Pirates will get some of the facts regarding his surgery in the coming days.

Jason Mackey is reporting that Endy is out for the 2024 season. He had reconstructive surgery. This stinks for sure. Two main players out for the upcoming season.

I was Tellenz you all BC had the splash play coming. I also mentioned the Hoon Lee guy way back but BC didn`t listen and the Giants got him.

Since it’s obvious that the front office is not going to sign a high or middle end free agent; why don’t we take a shot at Zack Greinke. 40 years old but still has some gas in the tank. Low cost possible high reward.

I hope they don’t think McKinney will play right field if Davis becomes the everyday catcher. This guy has barely hit over .200. I don’t know what the heck the Pirates are doing this offseason. They need additional pitching, and teams are beginning to sign some mid level guys which one would assume the Pirates could afford.
