Wehner is correct....the Pirates could have won every single one of these games, and have lost all of them from a lack of execution in critical spots.

Perhaps, and dream with me here, with a roster of mostly youngsters earning the minimum, that allows BC to acquire pitching in the free agent market. Actually, I can’t believe I wrote that.

The Pirates have lost 5 straight in Chicago, two of them on dropped balls, today possibly on a dropped throw to first.



That's not even accounting for the numbers of runs given up after two outs, two strikes.



Wick is pitching the 4th day in the last 6......I thought that shit wasn't allowed

It can happen, and we know it will be 1-2 year deals. But they can't go bottom of the barrel. They have to go after a guy or two with some chops
