Man, what hasn't the guy been through?  I dn want to know.  He's had as much tough luck already as I'd want any guy to go through.  Give the guy a four-leaf clover, rabbit's foot, or something.

So true! You can't help but wonder how good he'd be without all those injuries and surgeries.

Jamie Romak, who came to the Pirates from Atlanta in the Adam LaRoche trade, retired at age 36 after hitting 155 homers in five years in the Korean league. He got 36 at-bats in the majors with the D-backs and Dodgers.

Mel Rojas, Jr, who was a wrecking crew in Korea, switched to Japan this year and hit .217 and spent time in the minors. He's 31 now.
