I think some players feel pressure to perform well for their new team and mess themselves up over it. Joey Gallo was only hitting .223 for Texas but had 25 HRs in 310 ABs (1 every 12.4 ABs). Since the trade to the Yankees he's hit .143 with 4 HRs in 84 ABs (1 every 21 ABs). And he's in the middle of a lineup with Rizzo, Stanton and Judge. If anything he should be doing better for NY than for Texas. Just As Frazier is in a better lineup with SD. I guess they put a lot of pressure on themselves.

Since joining the Padres about a month ago Frazier is hitting.227. He is still slightly over .300 for the season.
