Panthers open their season tonight against Tennessee-Martin which is a make or break season for Jeff Capel. The only thing I
know about their opponent is they are located in Tennessee

After winning their opener against Tennessee Martin, the Panthers
returned to normal losing 81-56 to West Virginia. Next up is
Michigan at the Legends Classic

Panthers defeated NorthWestern 87-58 in the ACC Big Ten Challenge. Pitt is now 4-3. Next up - NCState in the ACC opener on Friday

Maryland's new coach this year is Kevin Willard. He played for Pitt 1995-97 while his father Ralph Willard coached that team.

I go to listen to a good bit of the game on the way to work. Sure was nice for the second game in a row to hear Bill Hillgrove really pumped up about the team.

I go to listen to a good bit of the game on the way to work. Sure was nice for the second game in a row to hear Bill Hillgrove really pumped up about the team.
When Wildwood High School retired Billy Osborn's ( former Pitt
wide receiver and broadcaster) number Hillgrove was the Master of Ceremonies and was funny as well. Obviously after the dinner he
hung around and had a few with the guys. Me included. Of course I just had Ginger Ale.
. I introduced doc to him at one of the Pitt
games.
