being sent down?
In one game he is 0-4 with 2 Ks.
Good God, you could do better than that!

Madris playing first base at Indy tonight. I think they are getting him prepared to return to Pittsburgh in August to platoon with Chavis.

This will be his 6th consecutive start at 1B for Indy.

I am glad they are putting him at first base. I think he could be one of their better above average hitters. I would expect several doubles from him.

Reflections on Altoona:
I am sure some of you have been to People's Natural Gas Field
The setting us ideal and not a bad seat in the Park.
The attendance was 5,380 seating capacity is 7200
Ticket prices are $17, 15, 13, 11, 10. I had the $15 seats and sat
4 rows behind the Curve dugout on the first base side.
Food prices very reasonable. For you beer drinkers, 32 oz. $8
Gonzales and Davis didn't play - injured
I thought the best player on the field for Altoona was infielder Andres Alvarez. 3-4 with two home runs. Peguero and Matt Frazier
showed me nothing. combined 0-8. Peguero really irritated me when he didn't run out a fly ball which was caught but the outfielder made a great catch and Peguero was just jogging to first base.
Pitching was average at best. A lot of fastballs- 94-97. but very few good sliders or change ups
Game moves along. 14 seconds allowed between pitches
Final Score Akron ( Indians Team) Altoona 2
Plenty of entertainment between innings-
Highly recommend going to a game

Nunez has still not played for the Curve. I wonder if he is hurt.
