A lot of business for the blue ribbon panel as the Blue Jays get George Springer for a 5 and Michael Brantley for a 3 and the Angels get Jose Quintana for a 2.  What say  you WWD and GW?

First, we need to see what we have.

It takes time to build a long tern sustainable championship team. Any money we save from not acquiring any FA will be added to next year's budget. We will spend when the time is right.

Remember, we can't blame Nutting for this, he is in a small market. We can't blame Cherington, Nutting doesn't give him any money. We can't blame Shelton, Cherington doesn't give him any players to work with. We can't blame the fans, they support the team through tick and thin. What it cones down to, is it is all my fault.
