152 average but now only a homer behind Moran, tied with Polanco and Reynolds.

Two former farmhands made the big leagues recently.

Rinku Singh is now wrestling as Veer in the WWE and Zach Von Rosenburg has signed with the Vikings as a punter.

Connor Joe, a NH supplemental 1st round pick 7 years ago still trying to make it as a 28 year old rookie. Cole Tucker had been picked earlier in the 1st round. Wow, two 1st round picks that year. That should bode well for the future.....not. >:(

Reese McGuire starts at catcher for Toronto today. He made his MLB debut May 5th. Seems like since the Archer trade debacle, the one involving Reese seems a distant memory

That wasn't his MLB debut. He's been with the Blue Jays for all or part of each season since 2018.

My bad. That was his first game this season. The atlanta broadcast didnt make that distinction and I had no recollection of him having ever played.

I like McGuire and was sorry he was given away. So I've kept track of him. Good defensive catcher but hitting is spotty.

The jury selection process began today for Felipe Vasquez. I hope he spends every day with a bunch of really big guys who want to get to know him intimately. People who take advantage of or abuse children should live really long lives in an unrelenting hell.
