In a move that strikes me as BS somewhere along the way, the Yankees search for a new first base coach because the one they had "quit" to become a volunteer assistant at Oklahoma.
Quit the Yankees to make no money.

I didn't wanna type that, but it's what I was thinking. 
You know what else? The guy must be either still getting paid...or. he's not smart.
The University of Oklahoma charges tuition. It's tax-free. They get a lot of stuff donated. They have the money! Why is he working for free? Makes one wonder.
