Good games for Hayes and Yoshi. 1st MLB hit for Castillo. Not too much else to say about it.

Keller is still Keller. 4 IP, 4 ER, 6 H, 2 BB, 1 HR.

They can't pitch Wainwright EVERY game.

Pirates pitchers again trying to nibble. Getting ahead in counts, then giving up walks and hits.

Really disappointed in Tucker not making that catch.

Lack of timely hitting. Really need to quit playing little league, everyone gets an AB. Castillo not only earned his way on to this team, he earned to start. I know it's only two games, but I've seen enough from a small sample last season, plus spring training, to know that Chavis is the infield version of Travis Snyder. You keep waiting for all this greatness.

This team talked to a man that they are going to prove people wrong, that this team will win.

It's now time for them to show they believe that talk. Because to me, they all looked like they were scared of the Cardinals.

Except Yoshi. He's the man.

We've been 0-2 before.

We got this.

To me, he’s already proven that.
It is only 2 games into this season, but I keep wondering if Tucker will ever become a consistent hitter. He was up in 2 run scoring situations today, and did not produce. To me Castillo appears to be a guy who can hit about .275 -.280. I would like to see Castillo and Cruz (when he arrives from Indy) in the lineup.

The Patty Cake hitting Cole Tucker's in his fourth season, batting .215 providing, of course, no power whatsoever.

The team is 0-2. We need Baker's Men, which he's sure to turn into once we let him go.

I stopped wondering long ago if Tucker’s a major league hitter. I’ve heard people argue that he hasn’t been given enough of a chance. There’s a reason for that.

Shouldn't be hard to figure out. Through his first 223 games, Cherington's WP is .359. It's because he has too many Tuckers. Needs to replace his Tuckers with more Reynolds if we're going to get anywhere.

Whether you're .359 or .539, it's usually talent-driven.
