When I was a kid I always wanted to see Roberto and Maz in the lineup for every game I went to.

Shelty and/or BC you deserve a great big boo for your decisions with today's lineup.

Thank God we HAD Roberto, Maz, and Willie when we were kids.

Face it.

We wouldn't have any of them today, let alone all three.

Has to be different, these changes in times: Guys don't hang long. Reynolds has been here a day and a half. Hayes? Even less.

So, how many "favorites" can kids have?

Cutch was here a while, then dumped. He was Mr. Man's favorite.

Kids these days probably know by now not to fall in love with guys for very long. There haven't been that many to even think about it.

So far Quintana is having one of those positive outings like Keller.

I'm not a gambler but it occurs to me that there is not a more sure thing in sports than a loss by the Pirates in the final game of a series when a victory wins the series. If any gamblers used that system last year, they did so with 100% accuracy. Aided and abetted by Shelton almost always using a particularly weak lineup in those games. Just like today. I'm beginning to suspect that Shelton is not as incompetent as he appears and that maybe someday we will learn his motivation for trying to avoid winning these games.

3rd error of the game by Franco. He's gonna make Shelton mad.
