I believe Woodruff was pulled because he reached 95 pitches. They no doubt did not want him to go over 100 and preferred not to make the change in the middle of the next inning rather than letting the reliever begin the inning. That's understandable. So l didn't say it was a bad move. Keller was going strong at 75 pitches and needs a confidence boost rather than being treated like he can't be trusted to go further. So, yes, I think that was a bad move and said so.

Chavis was on base. He PH for VanMeter.
