The trials and tribulations of watching and rooting for these young bucs. Keller did extremely good today. One hit in the last 5 innings was tough to digest. Just have to bear with it. Two tough series coming up

Their age doesn't matter. It's all about whether they win or not.

Did anyone give you more points if you played freshmen?

The things you learn. We all sat there wondering why Detroit was challenging, Tiger and Pirates fans alike, because Reynolds still threw the ball into second.

Little did we know that the runner is credited the base. This is a bad outcome of replay. Why should the runner be placed at second? At best he's half way, who's to say they don't get thrown out anyhow? Reynolds dove, so it most likely results in the guy making it to second.

I just don't like the rule. But if they keep replay, they have to make a decision one way or the other, and I dang sure don't want a judgement call.

Their age matters when they haven't seen a great deal of Major League pitching.

Your question doesn't deserve an answer

Gee. I wonder what the reason for all of that might be.

Do you expect the Pirates to carry a much more experienced roster at some point?

It helps to consider that one of the easiest ways to manage payroll is to have a high enough percentage of lesser-experienced guys. Payroll is driven largely by roster experience.

Let me give you an example to show you how stupid your question was. When a company hires a salesperson who has very little experience, is that person expected to do as well as those with more experience. Also the younger inexperienced salesperson will be getting a league minimum salary until they prove themselves
