7th shutout loss. 34th time in 79 games (43%) scoring 2 or less.
That old BARISP issue rears it's ugly head yet again. This stat for "clutch" has been overlooked by the people who annoited OPS as the be all, end all.
Better still, how about OBP with RISP (OBPR?) added as another layer to the current OPS, making it OPSR, as follows:
OPSR = OBP + Slugging% + OBPR
I like this more. You have to add something for "clutch" to the hitting evaluation.
