Diaz with a double. It’s never easy.

Blackmon lines into a double play to end it. Bednar, throwing just seven pitches, won’t need to shower.

Interesting inning for Bednar. Strikes out Joe on 3 pitches, gets smoked for a long double by Diaz and gets smoked by Blackmon with a shot down the line. But Chavis snags it and throws to 2B for the DP. Just a 3-batter scoreless inning featuring an impressive K and 2 well hit shots.

One more comment on the Rockies' broadcast. Today's broadcast was high quality like yesterday's, except for one thing. They spent a half inning focusing on their version of Robbie bringing ice cream to the booth while the camera spent too much time on that. However, it was the only time I saw the announcers on camera. It was interesting that the camera angle in the booth was identical to the angle in the Pirates booth. Both are productions of AT&T SportsNet, which apparently has a standard angle for the booth camera and possibly even suggests the food in the booth segments. And I guess if you are produced by AT&T SportsNet, you have to have a Robbie. At least that was the only annoying segment of the Rockies broadcast.
